The American Ireland Fund held its Twenty-ninth Annual New York Gala at the Waldorf-Astoria on May 6, 2004. The lavish event was led by dinner Chairman Robert McCann and attended by 1,400 guests. The international organization reached its goal of raising over $2.5 million to support its many cultural and humanitarian programs. ♦
